In Siirt, within the framework of the 'Pollen Trap Hive Support Project,' 1,050 hives were distributed to 35 beekeeping families. The project, supported by the Siirt Governorship and implemented by the Agriculture and Forestry Directorate and Siirt Beekeeping Cooperative, took place with the participation of Siirt Governor Dr. Kemal Kızılkaya.
Siirt Governor Dr. Kemal Kızılkaya, expressing that projects for the development of beekeeping will continue, stated, "Today, we will bring joy to 35 producers in the distribution ceremony. We are implementing this project together, amounting to one million lira. On this occasion, I must first express our gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has always supported us in all our efforts, and to our Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı. 1,050 hives with pollen traps will be distributed to our 35 producers. We wish it to be auspicious and beneficial. We express here that our projects aimed at developing beekeeping, which makes significant contributions to our province's economy and employment, will continue."
Speaking at the distribution ceremony, Beekeepers Union Director Beşir Efe said, "Projects like these have great support for beekeeping. I wish for the continuation of the projects."
Beekeeper Naci Adıgeçen, who received 30 hives, said, "We benefited from the hives distributed by our Governor and the agricultural cooperative. We thank them and all the unions and our state for their contributions."
