Siirt's green gold has found its place on the market.

Fresh Siirt pistachios, which are one of the major sources of income for local farmers, have begun to make their way to the market. This year's Siirt pistachios are being sold at a price of 300 TL. While the roasted pistachios are starting to be harvested, the complete harvest of Siirt pistachios is expected to be finished by the end of September.

Ramazan Yılmaz, a nut seller, noted that the pistachios this year are looking good, saying, "Our full harvest has not yet started. It will begin on September 15. The current price is set at 300 TL. The people of Siirt love this pistachio a lot. Some prefer it fresh, while others do not like the dried version. Since it is not always available, some people buy it to store for winter. All our pistachios are cracked and individually selected. They come to us chosen from the branches."

Customer Turan Açıkgöz added, "I also bought 2 kilograms. I really like Siirt fresh pistachios and I recommend them to everyone."
